That really is a great looking Alpine A110 100G.

The yellow is very fitting for the era it is from and I think the driving engagement and experience is much more important than the outright power and performance for me it would be all about the fun factor. Marc

Some photos of a super nice Alpine A110 100G from 1970.

In yellow, it is sublime. Credit: sothebys. The 1300 G is a super living motor, for this car. The 1600 is a bit more powerful, but the 1300 has a lot of character. Hmmmmm! Best, Nicolas

1300 to 1500 kilos.

So it could be 1301 or it could be 1499 kilos .... If 1300 that would be (almost) fabulous ... If 1400 so much less ... if 1500 a complete disaster (it is already a disaster to be honest). No matter how good this new A110 will be, it will NEVER be as good

Alpine A110 EV, 2026.

1300/1500 Kilos, 480 HP. These are the official figures. 70 to 120 000 euros depending on the power and the level of finishings. First deliveries: End of this year, early 2027. This is the only photo I found, for the moment. Too bad it is available only f

Alpine A110 SX Green.

The last one sold in th late 70's. Just to remind of the fact that the very last modern A 110 are on to disappear from the current catalogue... Some say they are all spoken... Best, Nicolas

Oil crisis

My business is going down the drain these days ... so I took my friends A110 for a drive. On my way to beg for work. Took a 5 minute shortcut, the wait for the ferry was 20+ minutes Stopped here to buy some Hotwheels, the only cars I can afford these days

I never drove one, I just read that it was super heavy. Some even made a comparative with the Alpine, and some tests, and what you wrote is in the same line than their opinion.

I was always attracted by this last one, though, for its engine and its lines. A strong and powerful design, with some sensuality. Now, I would not say that it is nicer than the Alpine. It is different, but not nicer. What you can compare with the A110 is

A quick spin in the Supra GR

Many of you probably know this Supra has a legendary 6 in line, but not the purist version, at least not for a Toyota. No legendary 2JZ in here but the legendary BMW B58 engine. First thing I noticed after take off was the weight, a lot of it unfortunatel
